What to expect
The Devon Dram Club offers a laid-back whisky tasting that welcomes both newcomers and seasoned whisky fans.
During the tasting, you’ll explore five different whiskies served blind, focusing purely on flavour rather than labels or reputation.
We’ll smell, taste, and talk about each whisky together, exploring the different styles and flavours they have to offer.
You can look forward to a friendly, relaxed setting where everyone is welcome to share their thoughts.
How the tasting works
The tasting takes about an hour and features five different whiskies. Each whisky will be:
- Tasted blind
- Explored together as a group
- Discussed in terms of flavour, style, and origin
Blind tastings are a great way to enjoy whisky because they take away any expectations and let you focus on what you actually taste. We care about good whisky, not big brand names. You won’t find any marketing talk here.

The brewery bar is open before and after the tasting, so you’re welcome to come early or stick around for a drink afterwards.
